This allows us to gain an understanding of the resources needed for successful completion. We then provide an initial estimate of the time and materials required to complete the job. Our estimates are based on our extensive experience and knowledge in the field, as well as our competitive hourly and material rates. We take into consideration the scope of work requested, the difficulty level, and any special requirements needed to complete the job.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once we have agreed upon an estimate for the job, then there are two ways this can go:<\/span>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the request falls under our project mandate (e.g., website maintenance), then we will move the approved request into production and once complete, we will deduct the time expended on the project from either the subscription service\u2019s allotted usage hours or the prepaid service\u2019s retainer credits, whichever is applicable. This system ensures that any work completed within the agreed estimate is tracked and accounted for.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the request is outside of our project mandate (e.g., CRM integration), we will formalize the estimate into a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/kika.ca\/kb\/docs\/how-do-i-request-a-custom-quote\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">custom quote<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that includes details on material and labour costs, timeframes and any special services that may be needed. The client will then receive an email with a link to review and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/kika.ca\/kb\/docs\/what-is-the-process-for-approving-or-declining-a-quote\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">authorize the quote<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We understand that clients may need additional information or changes to the quote, so we are available to discuss this further before they make a final decision.
